This evaluation report is for the hygrothermal performance of the Quik-Therm 936 Connect wall for Vancouver and Winnipeg climates.
The report has a discussion of how the wall assembly meets the functional requirements in NBC 2015 and provides additional insights to the hygrothermal performance of the wood framed wall assembly.
This evaluation is an example of hygrothermal simulations where the design limits related to airtightness, indoor humidity, and the ability to dry out from rain leaks is explored beyond the code minimum assumptions.
