BC Energy Step Code Metrics Report Update

This technical study informed updates to the BC Energy Step Code and the development of targets for the Zero Carbon Building Code. Large-scale parametric energy modelling was used to compare the impacts of a variety of energy improvements and decarbonization measures in the context of national code harmonization efforts and CleanBC commitments to greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
